If I ever visit Taiwan again, Zhe Yuan is the reason why. It's the best experience I had in the country.

We celebrated Mother’s Day with a special meal at J-Garden (Zhe Yuan in Mandarin) , and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was authentic, refined, and full of flavor. It was a true showcase of top-quality Cantonese cuisine. The service was impeccable, even on such a busy holiday. I appreciated J-Garden’s clear and upfront communication about the minimum charge per person—it was handled professionally and transparently, which speaks volumes about their integrity. A heartfelt thank you to Assistant Manager Karen, whose patience, professionalism, and warmth made our celebration even more memorable. Despite the holiday rush and almost at closing time, she remained composed, attentive, and gracious. Her exemplary service should be the benchmark for the entire industry. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional Cantonese food and world-class service.

Nice ambience, great service. All the dishes were pretty delicious. My favorites were the salty egg yolk bun, soft with great flavor. The pepper with pork and crispy chicken were wonderful, must have.

We went there for my father's 90th birthday. They put together a great meal for it. Everything cooked just right and tasted good.

I believe this place only offers private room dinning. Good place if privacy is your number one concern (politicians, celebrities, businessman etc). However, if your priority is the food, there are better places. Don't get me wrong, food here is not bad at all but there are better Cantonese/Chinese restaurants for lesser price.
